The façade draws on European village houses: hand-painted half-timbering, a shingled roof, climbing red moss, a blue door and a small bicycle leaning against the wall.
Upstairs, the sewing studio: a miniature antique sewing machine, an armchair and headboard in flowered fabric, a matching rug, a ribbon box, coloured thread spools and small frames on a deep blue wall.
On the ground floor, a bright room with mint green walls: a built-in bookcase, a black and white checkerboard floor, a panelled door and hand-laid stonework.
Every fabric, every piece of furniture, every plant was shaped and fitted one by one.
